Last updated: 23 October 2026

1. Who processes your data

Data controller: IMA Technology Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (IMA Technology Kft.), address: 1111 Budapest, Lágymányosi utca 12. fszt. 2., Hungary, company registration number (cégjegyzékszám): 01-09-404498, tax number (adószám): 32051177-2-43.

For any questions about your data, contact us via the form on the Contact page.

2. What data we collect

Contact form data: name, email, phone or messenger, selected topic and your message. You provide these yourself.

Client data: if you become our client, we process the documents and information you provide in order to deliver our services (for example, preparing a residence permit application).

Technical data: IP address, browser type and time of visit. These are needed to protect the website against attacks and spam.

3. Why and on what legal basis

  • Replying to your request and preparing an offer — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Providing services under a contract — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Accounting and compliance with the law — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
  • Protecting the website against attacks and spam — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • The consent you give when submitting the form — Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time.

4. How long we keep data

  • Requests that do not lead to a contract — up to 1 year, then deleted.
  • Client data — for the duration of the services and afterwards for the periods required by law (accounting records in Hungary are kept for 8 years).
  • Technical security logs — for the limited time needed to protect the website.

5. Who receives the data

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising. Data is processed only by the services the website needs to operate:

  • Hostinger — website hosting (servers in the EU).
  • Google (Gmail) — website requests are delivered to our email.
  • Dropbox — storage of website backups.
  • Wordfence (Defiant Inc.) — website security.

Some of these companies are located outside the EU (in the USA). Transfers are based on the European Commission’s EU–US Data Privacy Framework decision or EU standard contractual clauses.

If you are our client, we share your documents with public authorities (such as the immigration authority) only as instructed by you.

6. Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary cookies: to remember your language and to protect the site. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so no separate consent is required.

7. Your rights

You have the right to:

  • access the data we process about you and obtain a copy;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • receive your data in a machine-readable format (portability);
  • object to processing based on legitimate interest;
  • withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, contact us via the form on the Contact page or by post to the company’s registered address. We will reply within one month.
